Hello everyone and welcome back to a slightly delayed write up but at least we got here!
BUCS Southerns is one of the great moments of the archery calendar where everyone has a chance to be part of a major competition and meet all sorts of people. By my counting we had just under 100 SWWU archers attend! I’ve heard from my sources on the ground that it ran quite successfully which is always good news.
Some highlights include Bristol Ladies coming 2nd overall,Bristol’s Novice team coming 3rd and Swanseas Compound team second! Congrats to everyone there for their incredible performances. Also congrats to Mina from Bristol who despite only shooting her new bow once before beat her PB by 130 and came 2nd overall in the Novice division!
If you’ve been reading these I hope you can tell that I enjoy reporting about the dominance of our illustrious president. It is now with a heavy heart that I have to announce that Luke Burch bested him. I’d like all readers to take a moment of silence to reflect on this moment. And if we take enough moments we’ll end up in outdoor season where El Presidente can reclaim his position.
Enough of my inane yapping, lets get to the results. If you want the results sheet with only the SWWU archers, check out the results button for leg 5 on the calendar page of the website.
